The Arrcus team consists of world-class technologists who have an unparalleled record in shipping industry-leading networking products, complemented by industry thought leaders, operating executives, and Tier One VCs.\nRole:\nThe Partner Solutions Architect is a senior pre-sales and early-deployment technical leader focused on enabling System Integrators, channel partners, and strategic services partners to successfully position, design, validate, and deliver Arrcus and ArcOS-based solutions. This role combines strong networking depth, hands-on solution validation, and partner-facing communication skills to help partners build repeatable practices around Arrcus technology while also supporting strategic end-customer opportunities. The role requires acting as a trusted advisor to partner architects, practice leaders, and delivery teams across the full lifecycle from technical discovery and architecture definition through proof of concept, partner enablement, and initial production deployments.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as the primary technical interface for strategic partners, including System Integrators, service providers, resellers, and other ecosystem partners, during partner onboarding, solution evaluation, joint customer pursuits, and initial deployments.\nBuild trusted technical relationships with partner solution architects, practice leads, sales engineers, and delivery teams so that Arrcus becomes a preferred platform in partner-led designs and customer proposals.\nTranslate partner and end-customer business and technical requirements into scalable Arrcus architectures across data center, edge, core, WAN, telco, and cloud networking environments.\nLead and execute partner-focused proof of concepts, demonstrations, workshops, and design reviews; document findings, success criteria, deployment guidance, and technical recommendations.\nDevelop repeatable partner enablement assets such as reference architectures, validated designs, deployment guides, lab guides, demo environments, and technical training content.\nEnable partners to independently position, design, and implement Arrcus and ArcOS solutions while identifying and closing technical readiness gaps.\nSupport joint account planning and technical strategy with Sales, Customer Engineering, Product Management, Support, and Services teams for partner-led and co-sell opportunities.\nProvide hands-on guidance during initial lab validation, interoperability testing, migration planning, and early production rollouts with partner delivery teams.\nDrive technical alignment between partner offerings and Arrcus product capabilities, and provide structured feedback to Engineering and Product Management on field requirements, feature gaps, competitive insights, and partner adoption blockers.\nStay current on industry standards, market trends, and competitive architectures, and articulate Arrcus differentiation in partner and customer-facing engagements.\nRepresent Arrcus in partner events, technical advisory sessions, industry forums, and executive or architect-level briefings.\nContribute to internal labs, automation frameworks, demo infrastructure, and best practices used by the broader Customer Engineering and partner-facing teams.\nQualifications:\nBS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n12+ years of experience in networking, with at least 3+ years in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, partner engineering, or a closely related customer-facing role.\nStrong technical foundation in routing and switching technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, L2 and L3 VPNs, VXLAN, EVPN, and modern data center or service provider architectures.\nDeep understanding of at least one of the following domains, with breadth across several others: data center networking, service provider networking, cloud networking, edge routing, network automation, or large-scale enterprise networking.\nExperience working with channel partners, System Integrators, or strategic alliances, including partner enablement, joint solution development, or technical go-to-market execution.\nProven ability to lead architecture discussions, whiteboard complex solutions, run technical workshops, and guide proof-of-concept efforts from requirements definition through documented outcomes.\nHands-on familiarity with Linux-based networking environments and common lab, interoperability, and troubleshooting tools such as traffic generators, terminal servers, DHCP or ZTP workflows, tcpdump, and Wireshark.\nExperience with automation and NetDevOps or NetOps tooling such as Ansible, Python, APIs, CI pipelines, or infrastructure-as-code approaches is strongly preferred.\nAbility to understand implementation realities and work effectively with partner delivery teams on migration planning, deployment validation, and operational handoff.\nStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate with engineers, architects, operations teams, and executive stakeholders.\nAbility to create high-quality technical collateral including design guides, partner enablement content, workshop materials, and deployment documentation.\nNetworking certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent advanced vendor certifications are preferred.\nIdeal Profile\nComfortable operating in a high-growth environment where the role spans strategy, hands-on validation, partner enablement, and field execution.\nEqually effective with deep technical detail and with business-oriented conversations about partner practice development and customer outcomes.\nMotivated to help partners become self-sufficient while still engaging directly on the most strategic and technically demanding opportunities.\nStrong bias for action, ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and turning field learnings into repeatable scale.\nBenefits\nBonus+Equity\n100% covered medical, dental, and vision insurance\nParental leave\n401k retirement plan\nEmployee Assistance programs\nHealth & wellness program and resources\nWeekly Catered lunches at our San Jose office.\nMonthly happy hours at our San Jose office.\nSalary Range: $180,000-200,000Equal Opportunity\nAt Arrcus, we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer - We realize the key to creating a company with a world-class culture and employee experience comes from who we hire and creating a workplace that celebrates everyone.
