As part of Arriva Group, we deliver complex rail projects that help keep the nation's rail network moving safely and efficiently.\nWe're looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our growing Infrastructure team.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional to take ownership of site-based project delivery, ensuring rail and infrastructure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.\nReporting to the Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery and day-to-day management of construction activities on site, acting as the key point of contact for project teams, contractors and stakeholders.\nWhy Join RTS Infrastructure?\nAs part of Arriva Group, RTS Infrastructure is entering an exciting period of growth and investment. teams, influence project outcomes and contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure projects across the rail industry.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nOversee the safe and efficient delivery of rail and infrastructure projects on site.\nUnderstand project requirements and ensure delivery aligns with client and business objectives.\nWork closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers to plan project timescales, resources and budgets.\nOrganise, brief and direct site activities to ensure works are completed safely and effectively.\nReview project specifications and determine appropriate construction methodologies.\nCoordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment requirements.\nManage project resources in line with approved budgets and delivery plans.\nDirect and supervise site teams, contractors and subcontractors.\nEnsure all site activities comply with industry standards, regulations and company procedures.\nProvide practical construction knowledge and support project delivery teams with buildability and construction-related matters.\nUndertake the role of Person in Charge (PIC) within Safe Work Planning activities where required.\nProduce or coordinate the HSQE documentation required for project delivery, including Construction Phase Plans, Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, Permits and Safe Systems of Work.\nPromote a positive health, safety, quality and environmental culture across all site activities.\nInvestigate and report incidents, damage, delays and other site-related issues in accordance with company procedures.\nEnsure document control requirements are maintained in line with company and client standards.\nProvide regular progress updates to Project Managers, Construction Managers and other stakeholders.\nCapture, document and communicate project variations and scope changes.\nSupport commercial teams in identifying and recovering costs associated with project changes.\nAssist with project close-out activities, including as-built documentation, final reports and handover information.\nSupport the production of operation, maintenance and health and safety documentation at project completion.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Experience & Qualifications\nRelevant HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.\nPrevious experience managing construction or infrastructure worksites.\nExperience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and project resources.\nUnderstanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes.\nKnowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements within a construction environment.\nExperience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.\nSkills &
