Let’s grow better, together.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll design and build scalable backend services, APIs and infrastructure that enable pricing capabilities and revenue growth. Working closely with Product, Pricing, Data and Engineering teams, you'll translate commercial ideas into robust technical solutions while helping shape the future architecture of our revenue platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll take ownership of solutions from design through to delivery, working on systems that directly impact business performance.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDesign, develop and maintain scalable backend services using PHP and Laravel.\n\nBuild APIs and backend infrastructure that support pricing, revenue and marketplace functionality.\n\nDevelop and maintain operational data models and data pipelines.\n\nWork closely with the Head of Pricing to implement commercial initiatives and new pricing capabilities.\n\nBuild reliable, scalable and observable systems using modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring.\n\nContribute to technical design, architecture discussions and peer reviews.\n\nContinuously improve the performance, scalability and resilience of revenue-critical systems.\n\nAbout You\nYou'll be an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working collaboratively across teams.\nYou'll ideally have:\n5+ years' experience building production backend systems\nStrong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel\nExperience building scalable backend services and REST APIs\nStrong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases\nFamiliarity with AWS or similar cloud environments\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing\nStrong understanding of software architecture, scalability and system design\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\nA proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership..\nNice to Have\nExperience with any of the following would be beneficial, but isn't essential:\nPricing or revenue optimisation platforms\nMarketplace or e-commerce environments\nData pipelines or operational data models\nModern data tooling or orchestration platforms\nExperimentation or A/B testing platforms\nExposure to machine learning workflows or analytics platforms\nAbout Arrive\nArrive, including brands like EasyPark, Flowbird, RingGo, ParkMobile and Parkopedia, is a leading global mobility platform.
