Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will work alongside senior and staff accountants while taking responsibility for your own accounts and a revenue stream.\nThis is a hands-on opportunity to put your accounting experience into practice across journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support. You will also help improve workflows and internal controls, contributing to how the accounting function operates as the business grows.\nWhat You'll Own\nGeneral Ledger Accounting: Prepare and record accurate, complete, and timely journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP.\nRevenue Accounting: Take responsibility for the accounting of an assigned revenue stream alongside standard balance sheet activity.\nMonthly Close: Complete assigned close activities and collaborate with the team to meet reporting deadlines.\nAccount Reconciliations: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and support the monthly balance sheet review.\nAudit and Tax Support: Prepare supporting documentation for annual audit activities, including interim and field testing, and respond to quarterly and annual tax requests.\nVariance Analysis: Partner with Finance colleagues to understand and explain the drivers of monthly P&L variances.\nInternal Controls: Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve the accuracy and consistency of accounting processes.\nProcess Standardization: Help establish practical procedures and best practices that make recurring accounting work more efficient.\nSystems and Reporting: Participate in system implementations and upgrades that improve financial reporting and internal controls.\nTeam Collaboration: Provide backup support for colleagues and help keep shared accounting priorities moving.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n3+ years of relevant accounting experience, with knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting pronouncements.\nStrong technology skills, including experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica and proficiency in Excel.\nStrong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.\nClear written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with colleagues at different levels of the organization.\nThe ability to complete work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative accounting team.\nA practical, improvement-minded approach to accounting workflows, accuracy, and internal controls.\nBenefits & Perks\nUnlimited PTO\nExclusive employee travel rates\nTravel discounts through arrivia programs\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company participation\nWho We Are\narrivia powers travel loyalty and rewards programs for some of the world's leading brands.
