ArchitectJob Description:\nThe Application Architect is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure, scalable and maintainable enterprise applications while serving as a key applications.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nArchitecture & Solution Design\nDevelop and maintain common architecture standards aligned with enterprise technology strategies, standards, and business objectives.\n\nDesign scalable, highly available, secure, and resilient application solutions.\n\nEstablish common standards for application, database, integration, security, and data architecture.\n\nPromote reusable application services, APIs, database utilities and frameworks.\n\nIdentify opportunities to standardize solutions across applications.\n\nBalance enterprise standards with the specific needs of individual business processes and solutions.\n\nIncorporate security principles into application architecture, including authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding, and data protection.\n\nEnsure applications meet required operational, disaster recovery, monitoring, and observability standards.\n\nOracle Database Architecture and Design\nServe as a technical authority for Oracle database architecture and design supporting enterprise applications.\n\nDesign logical and physical database models that effectively support business processes, application requirements, reporting, integration, and future growth.\n\nDesign database solutions that support high transaction volumes, concurrency, scalability, availability, and recoverability.\n\nEstablish standards for data integrity, referential integrity, data quality, consistency, and transactional processing.\n\nDefine tables, columns, primary keys, foreign keys, unique constraints, check constraints, indexes, sequences, views, materialized views, and other database objects.\n\nDesign, develop and review complex SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers.\n\nDesign, develop and test efficient data access patterns between Java/Spring applications and Oracle databases.\n\nEstablish standards for when business logic should reside in the application layer versus the database layer.\n\nDefine API standards and integration approaches for internal systems, external applications, databases, and third-party services.\n\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical direction and mentorship to software engineers and development teams.\n\nCollaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and production support.\n\nFacilitate technical discussions and help teams make informed architecture and technology decisions.\n\nCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nStay current with Java, Spring, Oracle, cloud, integration, and enterprise architecture trends.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nRequires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.\n\nExpert with Oracle Database, SQL, and application/database integration.\n\nStrong experience designing enterprise applications and distributed systems.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExperience creating architecture documentation and presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.\n\nExperience with Java/J2EE.\n\nExperience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.\n\nExperience with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.\n\nExperience with application performance, scalability, security, and resiliency.\n\nDemonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and
