You will work closely with customers, field engineering, sales, and supplier teams to solve complex technical challenges and enable successful customer designs.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide expert technical support for Altera (Intel) FPGA-related customer requests, addressing design challenges and ensuring successful implementation of customer requirements.\n\nInterface with Field Application Engineers (FAEs), field sales, and customers to ensure effective technical collaboration and timely follow-up on field inquiries.\n\nSupport customer FPGA designs in areas such as RTL design, custom IP development, platform and device migration, and system-level optimization on Altera FPGA platforms.\n\nCollaborate closely with software and hardware engineers on complex, multi-disciplinary customer design projects.\n\nReview customer designs at RTL and architecture level, providing feedback and guidance aligned with Altera FPGA best practices.\n\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives by developing benchmarks, reference designs, demonstrations, and proof points based on the latest Altera FPGA devices and technologies.\n\nSkills & Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n\n6+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA design or applications engineering, with a strong focus on Altera (Intel) FPGA devices and toolchains.\n\nSolid experience with industry-standard FPGA development environments, including RTL design, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and debugging.\n\nHands-on experience with measurement and lab equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power measurement techniques).\n\nFluency in English, both written and spoken.\n\nStrong ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders across Arrow and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.\n\nCustomer-focused, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and drive for results.\n\nProactive and self-motivated; able to work independently as well as part of a global team.\n\nCompetencies - Clear Performance Expectations\nDemonstrates in-depth technical knowledge and practical experience in Altera FPGA technologies.\n\nSolves complex technical problems, applying new perspectives while leveraging proven solutions and methodologies.\n\nOperates with a high degree of autonomy, requiring minimal supervision.\n\nActs as a technical resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience.\n\nApplies best practices and awareness of internal and external business drivers to continuously improve solutions, services, and processes.\n\nKey Interfaces\nField Application Engineers and Engineering Leadership\n\nCustomers\n\nProject Managers\n\nFPGA and technology suppliers\n\nEMEA Supplier Business Managers\n\nWhat’s in It for You\nOpen-minded, inclusive corporate culture\n\nStable and trusting employment relationship\n\nCooperative team environment\n\nStrong opportunities for professional and personal development\n\nWhy Arrow\nYou may not always see Arrow, but you experience our impact every day-from the moment you make your morning coffee to the technology you rely on at night.
