This is an excellent opportunity for students or early-career professionals who would like to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and General Ledger activities within a global organization.\nIn this role, you will support the General Ledger (GL) team, working closely with experienced finance professionals responsible for operations in Spain and Portugal. You will be involved in a variety of accounting and reporting activities, gain exposure to international finance processes, and develop practical skills that will help build a strong foundation for a future career in Finance or Accounting.\nThe position offers a hybrid working model (2 days per week in the office in Gdańsk), flexible working hours, and approximately 30-40 working hours per week, depending on your availability.\nWhat will you be doing?\nSupporting the General Ledger team with daily accounting and administrative activities for Spain and Portugal\nAssisting with month-end closing activities, including preparation of reports and balance sheet reconciliations\nPreparing and maintaining general ledger account reconciliations\nSupporting intercompany accounting processes and reconciliations\nAssisting with inventory reconciliations and other account reconciliation activities\nSupporting accounting operations in the ERP system (Business Central)\nAssisting Accounting Managers and Finance professionals with day-to-day activities\nPreparing, completing, submitting, and monitoring various statutory reports and surveys required by public authorities in Spain and Portugal\nSupporting tax-related activities, including preparation and filing of tax returns\nResearching and analyzing financial data to support business and operational decision-making\nEnsuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls\nParticipating in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives within the Finance team\nWhat are we looking for?\nInterest in developing a career in Accounting, Finance, or General Ledger processes\nAvailability to work approximately 30-40 hours per week\nStrong communication skills in English, both written and spoken\nFluency in Spanish or Portuguese would be a very strong advantage\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy\nEagerness to learn and develop within an international finance environment\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team\nWhat do we offer?\nPaid internship in an international and dynamic environment\nOpportunity to gain practical experience in General Ledger and Accounting processes\nComprehensive onboarding and training relevant to your responsibilities\nFlexible working hours that can be adjusted to your studies\nHybrid work model (2 days per week in our Gdańsk office)\nSupport from experienced finance professionals and mentors\nFriendly and inclusive work culture where your ideas and contribution matter\nAbout Arrow Electronics\nArrow Electronics is a global technology solutions provider that helps thousands of manufacturers, service providers, and businesses bring innovative products to market.
