From order load the Material Planning Associate takes care of backlog management actions through to invoice and delivery of parts to nominated customers. Material Planning Associate also manage customer reserved inventory to meet all related goals and objectives for both Arrow and the Customer.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOrder-to-invoice ownership - Manage the full order lifecycle from order entry through to invoicing and delivery confirmation.\nCustomer and supplier communication - Provide responsive, professional after-sales support via phone and email, coordinating with both customers and suppliers.\nOrder management - Maintain high standards of accuracy across order processing, updates, and system data quality.\nBacklog alert management - Monitor, investigate, and resolve relevant backlog alerts quickly to prevent service issues.\nBacklog change control - Action and respond to customer-requested backlog changes, ensuring expectations and timelines are clearly managed.\nCross-functional collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Asset and Material Planning teams to align priorities and remove barriers to delivery.\nOn-time delivery performance - Drive on-time delivery in line with customer commitments and Arrow performance goals.\nCustomer satisfaction focus - Build trust through proactive updates, clear communication, and reliable follow-through.\nContinuous improvement - Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen operational outcomes\nA FEW THINGS YOU ARE AN EXPERT AT\nFluent English (written and spoken); German as secondary language is an advantage but not required (other European languages also welcome)\nGood knowledge of MS office\nCustomer Service/Sales experience \nAccountability\nCommunication and coordination skills\nCustomer oriented attitude\nTeam player\nOUR OFFER\nThis is a full-time position\nPermanent contract\nHybrid role following successful probation period\nWorking in a multicultural environment\nInteresting career development opportunities in a quickly growing environment\nPrivate medical care program\nMultisport program membership\nFantastic working culture where you can make an impact\nABOUT US\nAs Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components.
