Engineer (AOSP)Job Description:\nExperience: 5-8 Years\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nPrincipal Accountabilities:\nResponsible for design and development of real time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile based software application.\nTo Analyse domain specific technical or low level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement.\nParticipate in high level requirements analysis, High level and low level software design \nPerform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirement including manual and automated\nPerforms code review following coding guidelines and static code analysis\nTroubleshoots software problems of limited difficulty.\nDocumenting technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle. \nFollow defined process for software Development life cycle \nDevelops software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project.\nDevelop new approaches to complex design problems.\nResponsible for mentoring and training juniors as per the project requirement.\nJob Complexity:\nIncumbent generally works under broad supervision and has ability to solve complex problems arising during the flow of work \nIncumbent can work on complex concepts and implementation \nIncumbent has extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline, possesses strong knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of complex problems, and analyse possible solutions using standard procedures. \nLimited guidance and direction is provided.\nWhat Are We Looking For\nMust have Knowledge of AOSP build system, AOSP workflow and cross platform development of Native Applications.\nMust have Knowledge of Android Framework, Android System-Vendor services, JNI, AIDL, Se-policy rules in Android framework.\nMust Have Knowledge of Android HIDL for vendor specific modules such as Cameras, Wi-Fi, BT, GPS, 9 Axis Sensors, Battery etc.\nStrong knowledge of Android porting on various platforms and Device based customization of UI and Backend services.\nExperience in working with different embedded platform with processors from Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel or similar\nMust have programming skills with C++,JAVA/Kotlin, Shell script\nExperience in working with development tools like GIT, SVN, JIRA, Android studio etc.\nStrong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, analytical mind set, perfection seeker.\nExcellent
