Manager, Digital EngineeringJob Description:\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nLead four domain managers and an approximately 80-person global engineering organization, establishing clear accountability, decision rights, and effective ways of working across regions and time zones.\n\nOwn engineering quality, the technical roadmap, and non-functional standards across Adobe AEM, SAP Commerce, Oracle, data services, APIs, and integrations.\n\nCreate a unified engineering operating model that enables teams to make sound decisions quickly and deliver with quality, predictability, and velocity.\n\nDrive engineering excellence through code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, secure development, performance engineering, and disciplined technical-debt reduction.\n\nPartner with Architecture, Systems Engineering, Agile Delivery Operations, Software Quality Assurance, and Support & Observability to manage dependencies and end-to-end outcomes.\n\nEnsure engineering teams own the operational quality of what they build, including availability, performance, resilience, and corrective actions following production issues.\n\nEstablish engineering and delivery measures that identify constraints and drive measurable improvements in throughput, quality, and platform health.\n\nCoordinate with Infrastructure, Networking, and Information Security on environments, platform services, security, and compliance requirements.\n\nOwn engineering vendor relationships, improve partner performance, rationalize the vendor landscape, and strengthen critical internal capability and knowledge.\n\nDrive practical adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle to improve engineering velocity, quality, documentation, and innovation.\n\nCommunicate technical trade-offs, risks, priorities, and investment needs clearly to technology and business leaders.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nRequired Experience\n10+ years of experience in digital engineering, e-commerce platforms, web applications, or customer-facing software products.\n\n7+ years of people leadership experience, including experience managing managers or leading multiple engineering teams.\n\nExperience leading a globally distributed organization with a mix of employees, contractors, matrixed contributors, and external delivery partners.\n\nDemonstrated engineering depth in at least one relevant domain: digital experience platforms, commerce, enterprise backend systems, data, APIs, or integration.\n\nExperience owning engineering quality, technical roadmaps, non-functional requirements, and production outcomes for customer-facing platforms.\n\nA record of leading meaningful organizational or operating-model change while maintaining delivery continuity.\n\nExperience working in agile delivery environments with product owners, delivery leaders, architects, and quality engineering teams.\n\nWorking knowledge of cloud services, microservices, API-led integration, CI/CD, automated testing, secure software development, and observability.\n\nExperience managing external partners, vendor performance, workforce capacity, and technical delivery risk.\n\nUnderstanding of security and data-protection practices, including PCI considerations for payment processing.\n\nStrong executive communication, judgment, and the ability to translate technical trade-offs into business impact.\n\nPreferred Experience\nExperience leading an engineering organization of comparable scale and complexity.\n\nDepth across two or more platform areas: digital experience, commerce, enterprise backend, data, APIs, and integrations.\n\nExperience with Adobe AEM, SAP Commerce, Oracle, or comparable enterprise platforms.\n\nB2B commerce or distribution experience, including complex pricing, quoting, account structures, or customer onboarding.\n\nExperience modernizing a digital footprint while maintaining high availability and active delivery commitments.\n\nA record of establishing common architecture and engineering standards across previously separate technology domains.\n\nDemonstrated improvement in delivery predictability, automated testing, platform performance, change quality, or recovery time.\n\nExperience introducing AI-assisted software development, testing, documentation, or operations with appropriate governance.\n\nExperience consolidating vendors, transitioning services, and transferring critical knowledge to internal teams.\n\nExperience building internal engineering capability in global delivery centers.\n\nExperience with product-oriented, stream-aligned, or customer-journey-aligned engineering teams.\n\nBachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from
