The technician is responsible for independently completing preventive maintenance, supporting corrective maintenance, assisting with equipment troubleshooting, and providing guidance to Maintenance Technician employees, while continuing to expand technical capabilities and contribute to reliability and continuous improvement efforts.\nKey Accountabilities | RESULTS EXPECTED TO ACHIEVE\nSupport organizational goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery\nPerform maintenance tasks independently and in accordance with company standards\nContribute to increased equipment uptime through effective troubleshooting and corrective maintenance\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area\nFollow all safety policies and promptly report hazards or issues\nKey Responsibilities | TASKS YOU DO TO ACHIEVE THE ACCOUNTABILTIES\nFollow safety guidelines and participate in housekeeping and continuous improvement activities such as 5S\nFollow lockout/tagout and energy control procedures and ensure compliance during maintenance activities\nPerform routine/intermediate-level equipment, facility, and safety inspections with accurate documentation\nIndependently perform PM tasks, including component replacement, adjustments, and functional checks\nPerform cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and adjustment tasks, correcting issues within skill level\nEnter completed work orders and maintenance activities into the maintenance management system\nPerform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs with limited supervision\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and assist with root cause identification to prevent recurrence\nIdentify abnormal equipment conditions and coordinate appropriate corrective actions\nUse hand tools, power tools, diagnostic meters, and testing equipment safely and effectively\nSupport emergency and unscheduled maintenance activities and respond to equipment breakdowns\nRead, interpret, and apply equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions\nDeliver clear technical updates and repair summaries, tailoring communication to the appropriate audience\nProperly issue, return, label, and store maintenance parts, tools, and materials and document usage\nAccurately document parts usage, shortages, or discrepancies in the maintenance management system\nAssist in training and providing guidance to Maintenance Technician team members\nDevelop increasing familiarity with specialized equipment and facility systems\nMaintain professionalism and work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and other departments\nPerform other related duties as assigned based on business needs\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, carts, parts storage, and work areas\nRequirements\nQualities for Success\nDemonstrates Arrow Finishing Core Values: People, Excellence, Integrity, Communication, and Innovation\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nMust be a U.S. Citizen or have a current Green Card\n2-4 years of maintenance experience or equivalent technical training\nWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems\nAbility to troubleshoot equipment issues with minimal supervision\nBasic understanding of PLCs, sensors, and automated systems preferred\nProficient computer skills for CMMS, email, and documentation\nAbility to balance workload effectively and maintain organization\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and procedures\nAbility to work collaboratively, communicate professionally, and support peers\nDependable, punctual, and flexible with work hours and overtime as needed\nMotivated self-starter capable of working independently on assigned tasks\nPhysical Requirements\nLift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis and up to 70 lbs periodically\nAbility to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision\nStand, sit or walk for 8 to 10 hours as business requires\nStooping, bending, and walking with up to 50 lbs throughout workday\nAbility to withstand odors and high decibel sounds\nAble to walk, stand, climb, sit, kneel, stoop, bend, drive\nAble to climb a ladder up to a 20’ elevation\nAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or above\nThe mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.\nWork Environment\nThis position is based on the production floor and involves working near moving mechanical parts, electrical systems, and industrial chemicals.
