This role supports safe and efficient production by troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, completing repairs, and helping identify process improvements.\nThe ideal candidate is safety-focused, hands-on, and comfortable working from work orders, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and verbal instructions while minimizing disruption to production.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nInstall, repair, and maintain electrical production equipment, plant machinery, and power systems.\nWork from work orders, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, code manuals, written instructions, and verbal direction.\nMaintain electrical systems and subsystems for plant machinery and equipment.\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and assist in determining the extent of mechanical or electrical problems.\nDisassemble motors, clean components, and replace or adjust brushes, commutators, and bearings.\nPerform preventive maintenance on production equipment and related systems.\nCheck electrical systems, controls, wiring, and related components.\nTear down systems as needed to diagnose and complete repairs.\nRepair or replace defective parts, wiring, and electrical components.\nReassemble and test equipment using electrical measuring devices.\nExercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.\nMaintain electrical supply inventory and request replenishments as needed.\nComplete maintenance reports, records, and required documentation.\nDetect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervision.\nFollow all safety rules, company policies, and departmental procedures.\nIdentify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, and service.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nPrior maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment repair experience preferred.\nExperience maintaining production equipment, plant machinery, electrical systems, or power systems preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret work orders, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and written instructions.\nBasic understanding of electrical systems, controls, motors, wiring, and troubleshooting practices.\nExperience using electrical measuring devices and standard maintenance tools.\nAbility to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and complete repairs safely.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.\nStrong communication skills and ability to report issues, concerns, and completed work accurately.\nPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions\nMust be comfortable working in a manufacturing and production environment.\nMay be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and work around machinery throughout the shift.\nMust be able to safely use tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance work.\nThe noise level in the work environment may vary based on production activity.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.\nDiversity and Inclusion Statement\nAt Arrow International, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all individuals are valued and respected.
