Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role is responsible for leading key aspects of the consolidated monthly close process while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial results.\nThe Accounting Manager will supervise a team of accounting professionals and play a critical role in strengthening accounting processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, improving system utilization, and supporting audit readiness. This role will also help evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including automation and AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency, enhance data quality, and strengthen the accounting close and reporting process.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting experience, proven people leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or public accounting is highly valued.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead and manage the monthly general ledger close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.\nSupervise, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals responsible for general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and related analysis.\nReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.\nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal accounting policies, and required close timelines.\nIdentify, evaluate, and help implement opportunities to use automation, AI-enabled tools, and process improvements to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.\nPartner with the Assistant Controller to plan and execute initiatives that improve accounting processes, controls, and systems.\nChampion continuous improvement efforts to standardize workpapers, enhance documentation, reduce inefficiencies, and improve data quality.\nDrive effective utilization of internal accounting tools, including OneStream or similar reconciliation, consolidation, and task management systems.\nParticipate in annual physical inventory counts and/or cycle count processes, including coordination and issue resolution.\nStay current on new accounting standards and support implementation as needed.\nCollaborate cross-functionally on department-wide initiatives, accounting projects, and process improvement efforts.\nAssist with planning, execution, and reporting of special projects as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting required.\n7+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.\nCPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred.\nExperience in manufacturing or distribution environments is a plus.\nPrior people leadership or supervisory experience required.\nSolid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.\nExperience leading or supporting monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting, controls, and audit readiness.\nExperience with OneStream or similar consolidation, reporting, or reconciliation tools preferred.\nInterest in or experience using automation, data analytics, and/or AI-enabled tools within an accounting or finance environment.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and related analysis tools.\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.\nDemonstrated commitment to process excellence and continuous improvement.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.\nWillingness to travel occasionally to support physical inventory counts or costing projects. \nDiversity and Inclusion Statement\nAt Arrow International, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all individuals are valued and respected.
