We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.\nWage Range: $23.68 up to $29.52 hourly\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSet up tooling\nUsing the appropriate gauge of metal required for the job, form the product according to the directives.\nMaintain awareness and understanding of the fabrication sequence being performed and the steps\ninvolved in the process to completion.\nBring to the attention of the Lead Hand any positive ideas, improvements, or feedback\nrelated to improvements in the process.\nPromote a team environment.\nMaintain a clean, organized work area to ensure employee safety and product efficiency.\nMeet all timelines for products being fabricated.\nSet up, prepare, and program the computerized machinery from scratch for “first articles”.\nFollow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and\nMake equipment adjustments to the computerized system when required.\nEnsure all parts comply with the blueprint specifications and quality standards. Parts that are\nout of specification or damaged are to be segregated, and quality assurance is to be notified for\nSelect the program that corresponds with the part number.\nSelect the specified dies that are listed on the traveller.\nEnsure WIP tags and updated traveller move to the next operation as per the control of the product document.\nPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery\nComplete daily maintenance and repair logs\nCommunicate and assist co-workers, operators, supervisors, and leadhands when required.\nMaintain and secure work tools.\nClean and maintain the work area.\nEnsure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Organizational Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.\nFollow all lockout procedures when doing repairs and adjustments.\nCompletion of ITP paperwork.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n Education Requirements:\nHighschool Education or Equivalent, or years of experience combined with education, designations, and certification.\nAbility to read, write, and possess some advanced mathematical skills\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints\nKnowledge of various industry-related hand tools\nExperience working safely with lifting devices (Crane, Lift Truck, magnet, and other Lifting devices)\nAbility to frequently lift to 30lbs\nSkills, Knowledge, and Competencies:\nExcellent Communication Skills\nGood situational awareness.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team; must have excellent problem-solving skills.\nTeam player, consistently cooperative, and enjoys working with others and collaborating well with all levels of employees.\nPromotes a harassment-free environment.\nTreats people with respect and works with integrity and ethics.
