We offer our people a commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and the opportunity to implement innovative ideas.\nCompensation Range: $92,000 up to $124,000 annually\nPosition Summary: Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role will oversee and lead new program launches and APQP activities at the specific Arrow Off-Road facility.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nOwns the new product introduction (APQP) process from customer initiation through to the start of production\nProvides technical leadership in directing the efforts of cross-functional teams in the development and release of all relevant engineering deliverables in compliance with the product development process and/or customer expectations\nDevelops timing plans and project milestones in accordance with customer requirements and quoted expectations\nProvides status updates for APQP project tasks according to program timing for all assigned projects\nEnsures action plans, defect/issues lists, risk assessments, and lessons learned are created and maintained per the APQP process\nTracks project costs, product margins, and on-time delivery, and maintains those factors within budgeted/quoted values\nHolds cross-functional team members accountable and directs the work of others without direct reporting responsibility\nManages the commissioning of new lines, equipment, and other systems with plant engineering support to ensure that the introduction into the production facility is managed efficiently and with minimum disruptions\nRelies on experience and judgment to overcome obstacles and maintain performance to plan\nFollows safe work procedures; Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Uses workplace tools and equipment as instructed; Reports workplace hazards, injuries, and illness as soon as possible following the event.\nComplies with duties and responsibilities as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and ensures corrective action is taken when violations occur.\nFollows and complies with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. IATF, ISO 14001)\nPerforms other duties as necessary for the completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals.\nPerforms other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations.\nEducation:\nRequires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) and 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area\nRequired Skills & Expertise:\nIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical drawing standards, and GD&T\nPrior experience with metal cutting, forming, welding (manual and robotic), machining, and painting.\nExcellent planner and implementer with the ability to make things happen.\nCapable of managing multiple challenging assignments concurrently, moving swiftly and decisively, but collaboratively and effectively with others.\nPersonal commitment to high-quality standards.
