We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.\nCompensation Range: $33.75 up to $43.27 hourly\nPosition Summary:\nThe NDT Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on in-process and finished goods following applicable standards.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nKey areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to the following:\nPerform LPI and MPI as required in accordance with applicable standards.\nCreate and/or maintain all NDT reports and required logs.\nCreate and/or maintain all MPI and LPI-specific work instructions.\nMonitor and see to the maintenance of all NDT equipment and calibrations.\nOversee the Purchase Requisitioning of all NDT consumable products\nDirect NDT supervision and training of all trainees and Level 1 personnel in preparation for certification.\nInteract with the Quality Supervisor and production concerning NDT requirements and related production scheduling.\n Education Requirements:\nPost-secondary degree in science or engineering with designation and certification, or Equivalent years of experience combined with education, designations, and certification.\nASNT level 2 or CGBS Level 2 Liquid Penetrant (PT) and Magnetic Particle (MP) required.\nSkills, Knowledge, and Competencies:\nExcellent Communication Skills\nGood situational awareness.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team; must have excellent problem-solving skills.\nAttention to detail\nTeam player consistently cooperative and enjoys working with others and collaborating well with all levels of employees.\nPromotes a harassment-free environment.\nTreats people with respect and works with integrity and ethics.
