Working across cloud, virtual, and physical computing platforms, this position is responsible for advancing endpoint management, automation, digital workspace solutions, and emerging technologies.\nAs a member of the Desktop Engineering team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of end-user computing by supporting cloud-based virtual desktops, modern endpoint management, automation initiatives, and emerging AI technologies. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and business teams to build scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that enable our employees to be productive wherever they work.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with a continuous improvement mindset, helping deliver secure, scalable, and intuitive technology experiences for our employees.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and support cloud-based virtual desktop platforms, such as VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS Workspaces.\n\nEngineer and support enterprise endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 offerings.\n\nManage virtual desktop images, application delivery, profile management, performance optimization, and user experience improvements.\n\nLeverage endpoint analytics and telemetry to proactively identify and resolve user issues.\n\nSupport the strategy and evolution of Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) platforms for secure access.\n\nDevelop automation solutions using PowerShell, APIs, and related technologies to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.\n\nPackage, deploy, patch, and maintain enterprise applications across physical and virtual desktop environments.\n\nManage endpoint compliance, operating system updates, security baselines, and application lifecycle management.\n\nServe as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex endpoint, application, Microsoft 365, and VDI issues.\n\nPartner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable, and reliable end-user computing solutions.\n\nSupport the deployment, administration, and governance of Microsoft Copilot and other enterprise AI solutions. Develop and support Copilot agents, workflow automations and other AI-enabled solutions.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and operational runbooks.\n\nIdentify opportunities for automation, self-service, standardization, and technology modernization.\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, VDI Engineering, or related infrastructure role.\n\nStrong experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).\n\nExperience supporting enterprise VDI platforms such as VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, or similar solutions.\n\nStrong understanding of virtual desktop architecture, image management, profile technologies, application delivery, and performance optimization.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID, and modern endpoint management practices.\n\nAdvanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.\n\nExperience with enterprise application packaging, deployment, patching, and software lifecycle management.\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills across Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365 applications, virtual desktops, and endpoint infrastructure.\n\nExperience supporting endpoint security technologies, compliance requirements, and device management best practices.\n\nExcellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading cloud VDI migrations or modernization initiatives.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, agent development, Power Platform, or enterprise AI governance.\n\nExperience building workflow automation using Power Automate, APIs, or AI-assisted operational tools.\n\nExperience with PSADT, Patch My PC, or similar software deployment and automation platforms.\n\nExperience with SCCM/MECM in co-managed or hybrid endpoint environments.\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $310,000 per year.\nArrowstreet Capital operates a robust talent acquisition program, and we also seek to compensate and reward our employees competitively within our industry and in line with our merit-based culture.
