We are seeking a senior level software developer to work with our team of experts, building new technology frameworks that allow users to access data and existing systems across the entire Arrowstreet Investment Process.\nResponsibilities\nThe candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the team on designing and implementing software platforms for hosting micro services, event-driven real-time communication between components, as well as a common web platform for micro front ends. A successful candidate must be passionate about technology and understand software design patterns. They should be self-motivated, process-driven and a problem solver. This role is responsible for designing software solutions which take complex investment ideas and bring them to life. Collaboration with other software development leads and teams is a critical part of the success in this particular role.\nQualifications\nGreat communication, both written and verbal\n\nDemonstrated experience interacting and solving problems with users\n\nMaturity, accountability, and ownership of projects/tasks\n\nGood collaboration with other teams within IT and a mindset for solutions that leverages a common foundation and development principles\n\nAt least 5 years of experience with Python and/or C#\n\nAt least 3 years of experience with DevOps / CI/CD pipelines, and Agile Scrum\n\nAt least 2 years of experience with Cloud, preferably AWS\n\nAt least 2 years of experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Serverless\n\nAt least 2 years of working with message / event based architectures\n\nAdditional Preferences\nExperience with automated testing frameworks\n\nPlatform Engineering or Composable Application experience is a plus\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $325,000 per year.\nArrowstreet Capital operates a robust talent acquisition program, and we also seek to compensate and reward our employees competitively within our industry and in line with our merit-based culture.
