These systems run in live, regulated environments and are embedded into how institutions serve their clients day to day.\nWhat You Will Do\nYou will design and build production-ready agent systems that sit at the core of how financial decisions are supported and delivered.\nBuild the AI Agent Platform\nDesign and implement agent architectures (tool use, planning, memory, orchestration)\n\nBuild systems for LLM orchestration, prompt management, and workflow execution\n\nDevelop evaluation frameworks for agent quality, reliability, and safety\n\nCreate benchmarking pipelines to measure model and system performance over time\n\nEnable Enterprise Deployment\nBuild infrastructure for self-hosted and multi-tenant deployments\n\nDesign systems that operate under enterprise constraints (security, latency, cost)\n\nDevelop APIs and platform abstractions for external partners\n\nBridge Research → Production\nTranslate rapidly evolving LLM capabilities into stable, production-ready systems\n\nPartner with ML and product teams to integrate agents into real financial workflows\n\nImprove reliability, observability, and failure handling of agent systems\n\nWho You Are\n5+ years building production ML systems or backend systems for ML-powered products\n\nHands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, or applied ML systems\n\nStrong Python skills and experience with modern ML tooling\n\nExperience with agent systems, tool use, or LLM orchestration frameworks\n\nExperience building evaluation / benchmarking systems for ML or LLMs\n\nExperience designing systems beyond notebooks - APIs, services, pipelines\n\nStrong systems thinking: latency, reliability, failure modes, tradeoffs\n\nLocation: Bay Area preferred (3 days/week in our Mountain View office).
