You will take the platform from an empty repository to production, write code across backend and frontend, and use AI coding agents as your default development approach without compromising quality or security.\nEvery day, you’ll be #closer and:\nDesign and build the insurance core: product configuration and pricing, quotes, policy issuance, changes, renewals, billing, payments, and claims-related workflows;\n\nBuild backend services with Java 21+, Spring Boot, microservices, PostgreSQL, and REST and gRPC APIs;\n\nDevelop customer buying journeys and internal tools using React and Next.js, with KMP mobile integrations;\n\nIntegrate bank customer and identity services, payments, lending systems, and insurance partners using APIs and Kafka or Azure Event Hubs;\n\nShip production code with AI coding agents, using clear context, specifications, tests, reviews, and security guardrails;\n\nSet up Azure-based delivery with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, automated testing, and OpenTelemetry;\n\nBuild in secure development, access control, audit trails, GDPR, DORA, and bank security standards;\n\nOwn technical quality and architecture, evolve the platform, and mentor engineers as the team grows.\n\nTo be #closer, you’ll need:\nStrong full-stack engineering experience: hands-on Java/Spring Boot and React/Next.js;\n\nA proven record of designing, building, and shipping production systems end to end;\n\nAn AI-native workflow: you routinely ship code using AI coding agents and can validate their output;\n\nSolid microservices, API integration, PostgreSQL, data modelling, and cloud-native experience;\n\nExperience with automated testing, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure engineering;\n\nConfidence owning architecture, making trade-offs, and working with business stakeholders.\n\nNice to have:\nInsurance, fintech, banking, or other regulated-industry experience;\n\nExperience taking a greenfield platform to production;\n\nKotlin Multiplatform (KMP) experience;\n\nKnowledge of the P&C policy lifecycle, financial records, or IDD, DORA, and GDPR.\n\nBeing #closer means you’ll get:\nThe green light for your ideas.
