support and develop client data platforms, with a focus on metadata management and data governance using enterprise tools such as Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).\nYour role would include:\nPlatform maintenance: Run and support IDMC day to day, including Secure Agent management, connectivity, access control (asset groups, roles, SSO/SCIM provisioning), and environment promotion.\nMetadata engineering: Configure and troubleshoot metadata scans across cloud data warehouses, databases, CRM platforms, APIs and reporting tools, and resolve scan and profiling failures at scale.\nData quality and governance: Build and maintain data quality rules, scorecards, business glossaries and data classifications, and keep them consistent across sources.\nLineage: Map end-to-end data flow across the enterprise, so that data pipelines are visible and trusted.\nAutomation: Use IDMC REST APIs, Python and bulk import/export to automate glossary loads, catalog clean-up, and governance workflows.\nQualifications & Experience\nInformatica Experience: Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC in production (CDGC, Metadata Command Center or Data Quality), including platform administration, metadata scanning and lineage.\nData Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines using SQL and Python\nData Integration: Lead the integration of complex data systems and ensure consistency and accuracy of data across multiple platforms.\nStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementations.\nTeam Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers, ensuring high-quality project deliverables.\nData Governance: Develop and enforce best practices in data governance, security, and compliance within the organisation.\nSenior Engineer\nCloud Exposure: Strong experience with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and an awareness of concepts like containerization (Docker).\nCommunication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and support the growth of more junior members.\nDesirable experience\nAdvanced Education: A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field is a strong plus.\nReporting & Dashboards: Optimise data retrieval and develop dashboards and reports for business teams.\nTechnology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of the data engineering function.\nData Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience building and supporting solutions on one or more of Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache Airflow or PySpark.Informatica certification (IDMC, CDGC or Data Quality) or experience with other catalogs such as Collibra, Purview or
