Last year we went on a trip to Cornwall together - we surfed, walked and had fun. \nThese trips aren’t mandatory, so if they’re not for you that’s ok too!\nWe work with clients across automotive, luxury fashion, travel, charity, technology sectors and more!\nThe DEI team at Artefact is led by two members of the SEO team - DEI is very important to us\nMain Responsibilities\nSet and own the department’s SEO content strategy, standards and ways of working. \nTurn client objectives and search insights into commercially focused content strategies with clear, business-aligned success measures.\nDevelop effective content strategies which align with the other SEO disciplines (tech and digital PR) to help our clients exceed their goals.\nDefine best practice methodologies, sharing with the wider team and ensuring full integration with all Organic projects, with focus on GEO\nChallenge briefs and provide clear, evidence-based strategic recommendations.\nWork confidently with senior stakeholders.\nSupport existing clients, new opportunities and pitches.\nChampion the agency’s content-planning process and standards.\nWork across several teams as the senior content-strategy specialist.\nSkills and Experience\nEssential\nAt least five years’ SEO experience, including two+ years in a management role.\nProven ability to develop commercially focused SEO content strategies and lead complex projects involving clients, internal teams and third parties.\nStrong knowledge of keyword research, content audits, gap analysis, briefing, production and optimisation, balancing search performance with audience, brand and conversion needs.\nStrong analytical skills and experience using a range of SEO tools to inform decisions, measure performance and demonstrate results.\nExcellent client-management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.\nExperience managing, mentoring and developing team members while building a collaborative, accountable culture.\nUp-to-date knowledge of search developments and Google best practice, with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Google Workspace.\nDesirable\nAppreciation of UX best practice principles and how these should align with SEO recommendations\nExperience using seoClarity\nWhy You Should Join Us\nClient business obsession: constantly listening to clients, and then continuously testing, enhancing, and keeping up with clients’ changing challenges and needs\nArtefact is the place to be: come and build the future of marketing\nProgress: Every day offers new challenges and new opportunities to learn\nCulture: join the best team you could ever imagine\nEntrepreneurship: You will be joining a team of driven entrepreneurs.
