Joining Artelia means choosing a stimulating environment where everyone plays a part in shaping a more sustainable and human-centered world!\nTo see our projects in action and get to know our team, follow us on LinkedIn: Artelia Canada\nWork location: Montréal\n As a Network & Automation Technician within the Telecommunications team, you will:\nSupport PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems;\nAssist with the configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of control systems;\nSupport industrial networks and communications between control systems, field devices, and third-party equipment;\nPerform communication checks, input/output (I/O) testing, loop checks, and functional testing;\nAssist in troubleshooting issues related to PLCs, SCADA and DCS systems, networks, and field devices;\nParticipate in the verification of control panels, cabinets, and field wiring;\nSupport Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities;\nAssist engineers with system integration, testing, and the resolution of technical issues;\nSupport project managers with technical follow-up, coordination, and project documentation;\nPrepare and update technical documentation, including drawings, I/O lists, network information, test sheets, reports, equipment lists, and as-built documentation;\nCoordinate activities with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, as required;\nProvide remote and on-site technical support during project execution;\nSupport the preparation, configuration, and testing of equipment prior to shipment or deployment to site.\n College diploma in automation, controls, electrical engineering technology, electronics, networking, or a related field;\nKnowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems;\nUnderstanding of industrial networks and communication protocols;\nAbility to read electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation;\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;\nStrong computer and technical documentation skills;\nAvailability and willingness to travel approximately 40% of the year, including internationally;\nComfortable working on industrial sites and supporting commissioning activities for extended periods when required;\n Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, is required (to collaborate with teams located outside Quebec, as 15% of the Vice-President’s teams are based outside Quebec, as well as with clients located outside Quebec, who represent 70% of the Vice-President’s client base).\n Your benefits\nRetirement savings plan with employer contribution;\nReimbursement of professional contribution fees;\nTelework policy with a $500 allowance;\nGroup insurance program starting on day one, including telemedicine;\nHealth management account;\nEmployee and family assistance program (EFAP);\nFlexible working hours;\nHourly employees’ time bank;\nContinuing training;\nCareer and development opportunities;\nSocial club and Corporate discounts;\nHealth and wellness initiatives.\nPlease note that Artelia subscribes to the Employment Equity Program and encourages women, visible minorities, Indigenous people, and persons with disabilities to apply.
