Joining Artelia means choosing a stimulating environment where everyone plays a part in shaping a more sustainable and human-centered world!\nTo see our projects in action and get to know our team, follow us on LinkedIn: Artelia Canada\nWork location: Mississauga, ON\n Within the Energy department, as a Substation Engineer - Grounding :\nExcellent in CDEGS software and shall perform substation grounding modeling with various SES modules including HIFREQ;\nProficiency in other substation studies such as, Rigid and Strain bus calculations, AC/DC load studies, Ampacity Studies, Arc Flash studies, lightning protection and insulation coordination, lighting, transformer and bus sizing calculations, fault calculations, and AC and DC auxiliary system sizing calculations;\nPower system studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, protection and coordination and ampacity studies;\nProposal preparation, proposal estimates, and provide input to scope documents and client presentations;\nQuality assurance of the documents to the applicable client standards;\nDiscuss technical problems and communicate effectively with other project personnel and external customers;\nPerform independent audits and reviews of technical work;\nProvide final reports which summarize the overall project including timelines while ensuring power quality, system adequacy, system reliability, system compatibility and compliant work execution;\nOffer customer support and problem resolution with respect to the associated project, product, process, and quality system.\n Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant High Voltage Substation studies;\nExperience with power system load flow, fault analysis, and short circuit studies;\nExperience with CDEGS, CYMCAP, SES-Shield 3D, ETAP, SAMCEF, PSS/E, EMTP, and PLS-CADD;\nMust possess strong written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills;\nProfessional Engineer of Ontario (P.Eng) is required.\n Your benefits\nRetirement savings plan with employer contribution;\nReimbursement of professional contribution fees;\nGroup insurance program starting on day one, including telemedicine;\nHealth management account;\nEmployee and family assistance program (EFAP);\nFlexible working hours;\nHourly employees’ time bank;\nContinuing training;\nCareer and development opportunities;\nSocial club and Corporate discounts;\nHealth and wellness initiatives.\nPlease note that Artelia subscribes to the Employment Equity Program and encourages women, visible minorities, Indigenous people, and persons with disabilities to apply.
