For more information visit www.artemisgoldinc.com.\nReporting to the Superintendent - Mobile Maintenance, The Supervisor - Mobile Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including trucks, loaders, and excavators, to ensure optimal performance and uptime. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and availability of mobile equipment used in our mining operations.\nLocation: Blackwater Mine Site\nSchedule: 2 Weeks On - 2 Weeks Off Rotation\nResponsibilities\nDemonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.\nSupervise a team of mobile maintenance technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the efficient and effective completion of maintenance activities.\nPlan and prioritize maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs for mobile equipment based on operational requirements, equipment condition, and maintenance schedules.\nCoordinate with the operations team to schedule equipment downtime for preventative maintenance and repairs, minimizing disruptions to production and optimizing equipment availability.\nReview work orders, reports, and equipment history records to track maintenance activities, equipment performance, and costs to make recommendations for improvement.\nPerform other duties as required\nQualifications\nJourneyperson certificate in Mechanical or Welding trade required.\n5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment industry.\n5 + years previous experience and a supervisory or leadership role is an asset\nAbility to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation\nComfortable working and living in close quarters with the team\nAbility to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift\nAbility to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift\nAbility to work in extreme weather conditions\nStrong technical knowledge of mobile equipment systems, components, and maintenance practices.\nExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, and stakeholders.\nProficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.\nBenefits\nPaid Time Off\nRRSP Matching\nExtended Health, Dental & Vision Care\nDisability Insurance\nLife Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program\nCognitive Behavioural Therapy Programs \nWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, or any other basis protected by law.
