We’re building a new, large-scale data platform from the ground up - andwe’re looking for exceptional Software Engineers to help shape and build it. You’ll work alongside engineers who architected some of the world’s biggest distributed systems.\nThis is a high-impact role with significant ownership. You’ll work across critical parts of the system - from customer-facing experiences to large-scale data and analytics infrastructure - depending on your strengths and the problems at hand.\nYou will help define architecture, make key technical decisions, and drive projects from concept through production. This role is for engineers who are comfortable operating in ambiguity, care deeply about quality, and want to build systems that matter.\nResponsibilities\nOwn and deliver major product and platform initiatives - Design, build, and ship end-to-end features and systems that power Artemis’ detection, analytics, and customer experience.\n\nBuild and scale distributed systems - Work on services and pipelines that ingest, process, and analyze massive volumes of security telemetry with high reliability and performance.\n\nContribute across the stack - Depending on the problem, this may include backend services, APIs, data infrastructure, or user-facing applications. You’re not boxed into a single layer.\n\nMake architectural decisions - Evaluate trade-offs, influence technical direction, and help ensure the system remains scalable, secure, and maintainable as we grow.\n\nBring strong engineering judgment - Balance speed and quality, know when to iterate and when to invest, and raise the bar for code, design, and operational excellence.\n\nCollaborate deeply - Work closely with product, design, security, and AI/ML teams to turn complex problems into usable, reliable solutions.\n\nLeverage AI-native development practices - We actively use AI tools to increase velocity and quality. You’ll be expected to embrace and evolve how we build software in an AI-first environment.\n\nQualifications\n6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems. Strong experience in backend development (e.g., Python, Go, or similar) and designing APIs and services.\n\nExperience building or working with distributed systems, data pipelines, or large-scale platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern deployment practices (containers, orchestration, CI/CD).\n\nAbility to reason about performance, reliability, and scalability in real-world systems.\n\nProduct and customer mindset - you care why you’re building something, not just how.\n\nClear communicator who can collaborate across disciplines and mentor other engineers.\n\nBonus:\nFrontend experience with React / TypeScript.\n\nExperience with data platforms (Kafka, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).\n\nBackground in cybersecurity, observability, or large-scale analytics systems.\n\nWhy Work at Artemis?\nMake a real world impact.
