In this role, you will, as part of the team, ensure the proper operation, monitoring and enhancement of the Linux infrastructure. You take care of the daily\ntechnical management of the Linux infrastructure and its supporting\noperational services, ensuring resilient, secure and high-quality services. Furthermore, thinking the infrastructure forward and driving innovation.\nResponsibilities:\nImplementing,managing and enhancing linux based supercomputing infrastructures, support systems and\noperational services.\n\nEnsuringthe high availability, resiliency and security of computing and data services\nprovided to customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.\n\nMonitoringand analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing\nsolutions to optimize efficiency.\n\nReportingon supercomputing platforms’ utilization, performance and availability.\n\nContributingto the organizational efforts to develop and implement new Cloud interfaces,\nand portals enabling customers to take advantage of supercomputing\ninfrastructures.\n\nContributingto the departmental efforts to treat Infrastructure as Code, designing,\nbuilding, and maintaining scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines, incorporating\nautomated testing and deployment strategies.\n\nWriting andmaintaining technical documentation and documentation for end-users.\n\nCollaboratingwith other teams to ensure delivery of high-quality services to customers.\n\nStaying upto date with the latest technologies and providing recommendations for process\nimprovements and tooling upgrades.\n\nYour profile:\nUniversity degree (Master preferred) in IT, computer science,computer engineering, information technology or a closely related field.\n\nProven experience in system administration and system engineering of Linuxenvironments, in a Admin or System Engineering similar role\n\nSound understandingof software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.\n\nStrong experience with storage and network filesystems(parallel filesystems experience is an asset).\n\nHands-on experience with software defined storage solutionsand object storage is an asset.\n\nHands-on knowledge of scalable system management tools (e.g.Satellite, Foreman, xCAT), and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible,\nPuppet).\n\nSound knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus,Grafana, Icinga, OpenSearch/Kibana).\n\nSound knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python,Shell, Lua).\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with theability to work effectively in an international and multicultural team\nenvironment.\n\nExcellent command of written and spoken English is a must.Good control of French and/or German is a plus.\n\nYou can expect:\nLeading company with strong technical expertise and brand awareness\nStrong compensation and benefit scheme\nTop-Notch Rewards: Not just a competitive salary, but apackage that cheers your growth and well-being.\n\nBe at the Forefront: Dive into a world where innovationmeets impact.
