We are actively looking for an Audio-Visual Event Technician II to set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for events that are on and offsite. This position would be located at our Naples, FL facility, but would include 20-30% travel. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™. \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible for setup, operation, and strike of audio, video, and lighting equipment during events, studio productions, and tradeshow exhibits\nSelects and coordinates technical equipment rental and labor used during off-site events or video productions\nMaintains a positive relationship with meeting hosts and planners through effective communication \nMonitors events and checks in on them throughout the day\nMeets with meeting requestors on-site to ensure their needs are met and equipment is set up and working correctly. \nResponsible for the routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment\nResponsible for level one user support and troubleshooting for all the audio-visual equipment in the meeting and conference rooms around the Arthrex campus as well as off-site labs\nSome travel is required for select offsite events and tradeshow exhibits.\nEducation & Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\n5 years of related experience or Associates Degree and 2 years of related experience required\nCertifications: Dante Level 1, 2 & 3\nKnowledge & Skills:\nFrequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles.\nIn-depth knowledge of sound, video, and lighting equipment.\nExcellent troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. \nEffective time management skills. \nExceptional organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-through. \nOutstanding listening skills with the ability to empathize and focus on client service. \nDemonstrate initiative in the resolution of problems. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
