With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics.\nThe Arthrex Equine Veterinary Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales of products and equipment to both existing veterinarians and new customers within an assigned sales territory by planning and making sales calls and selecting products and programs that motivate customers to buy products. The primary territory for this position will be North Texas. Remote work within North Texas will be considered.\nThe salary range is $60,000 - $90,000 plus commission and bonus.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nCall on target, current and prospective customers in order to generate sales, improve market share, and increase income for AVS.\nUtilize the computer as a sales aid and be competent in the use of Outlook, and the Arthrex Veterinary website.\nSeek to understand the needs of the veterinarian and clinic and, in turn, select products and services to satisfy those needs.\nEstablish appropriate relationships with veterinarians and clinics.\nReview and utilize sales analysis in pre and post call planning.\nPrepare and maintain a written call cycle consistent with territory changes. Share information with Arthrex Management.\nStay current on the full line of products and services offered by Arthrex.\nDemonstrate competency in Arthrex sales programs, products and techniques.\nEstablish account profiles for customers within territory.\nBe responsive to communication from customers, and team members.\nDetail and/or demonstrate new products and techniques for customers.\nEnsure reporting is submitted timely.\nMeet sales goals and budget numbers.\nAct as a resource to the customer in Arthrex products.\nMaintain adequate support material and detail aids in automobile.\nParticipate in conference calls and meetings as request.\nSupervise a Vet Systems Associate for the assigned region.\nMust be able to travel up to 75% of the time.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\n3 years of outside sales experience required; preferably in animal health.\nKnowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:\nKnowledge of company’s products, pricing practices, and selling skills.\nEffective management skills with ability to manage the company’s sales operations.\nEffective time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organization skills.\nExcellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills.\nProfessional appearance and presentation required.\nMachine, Tools, and or/ Equipment Skills:\nStrong knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office.
