Our Facilities team is actively searching for a Facilities Specialist. This position will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on items, equipment and systems within their field of expertise. Primary duties shall be scheduled in such a way that allows the Specialist to assist in carrying out general maintenance objectives on a daily basis as well. This position will focus on HVAC functions. The schedule for the role will be Monday thru Friday, 4:00pm to 12:30am. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerforms skilled, advanced journey-level duties in the inspection, installation, repair and servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical systems and related equipment and facilities.\nPerforms general building/facilities repairs & maintenance duties as needed on internal/external buildings, grounds and equipment.\nHelps to provide a safe and clean work environment by taking care of general maintenance needs.\nAssists all employees to be able to function in the most efficient way.\nNotifies the Supervisor or Manager of any performance or safety issue as they arise.\nSupport programs, policies, and procedures to help the growth of Arthrex as a world class medical device manufacturer.\nPerforms work and assists in maintaining operations in compliance with applicable Arthrex policies and OSHA regulations.\nActively trains and mentors new and existing technicians on new equipment and processes.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\n10 years of directly related experience required in the position’s objective.\nKnowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:\nRequires advanced mastery of building systems (fire, chiller, compressed air, etc.) or advanced mastery of building maintenance and repair, dependent upon facility assignment.\nAbility to anticipate implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible complications.\nMachine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:\nDemonstrated mastery of a maintenance discipline preferred.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
