The selected individual will ensure that production plan goals are accomplished by supporting production personnel in the assembly, inspection, and packaging of products. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.\n\n1st Shift - Monday - Friday, 6:00am- 2:30pm\n2nd Shift - Monday- Friday, 2:00pm- 10:30pm\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform daily, monthly and semi-annual terminal cleaning activities in the clean room.\nPerform manual and fixture assisted device assembly and packaging on medical device components, kits, convenience packs and/or any clean room specific device assembly as assigned.\nPrint and apply labels onto pouches and blisters. Assist in label reconciliation as needed.\nPerform supplemental label application, blister loading, pouch and blister sealing and visual inspection.\nOperate clean room specific equipment, automated robotic assembly equipment as needed.\nAlert of any maintenance or repair issues of any equipment or tools.\nAssist during changeovers and line setups.\nResponsible for accessing and following packaging instructions and work instructions from PLM and Document management systems based on product structure requirements.\nInspect unit assembled and sealed for potential defects.\nResponsible for managing and segregating scrap.\nEnsure correct and complete assembly of device.\nResponsible for DHR and ERP accuracy and completion.\nSupports activities involving QC Hold and/or MRB related issues.\nPromotes a safe work environment including the use of PPE when required. Communicates issues to management that could result in process delays and/or safety issues.\nAdhere to all Quality System Requirements.\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nSix months of manufacturing experience related to assembly and/or packaging of products preferred.\nKnowledge:\nFrequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles.\nReasoning Ability:\nSolves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.\nDiscretion/ Latitude:\nWork is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.\nSkills:\nA basic knowledge of packaging processes, product assembly, visual inspection, packaging, and labeling requirements.\nMust have the ability to perform tasks by reading, understanding and following work instructions/documents provided.\nKnowledge and ability to comprehend packaging and work instructions.\nKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for manufacturing of products.\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.\nLanguage and Communication Skills:\nAbility to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.
