The Supply ChainProgram Manager- MPI will serve as the primary liaison between corporate supply chain buyers, manufacturing supply chain teams, and manufacturing engineering to ensure seamless coordination of new product introductions at AMI (MPIs). This role will be thecentral liaison for AMI MPI-related supply chain activities between INC and AMI sites.The position requires a proactive, self-starting individual who excels at building relationships across multiple functions and locations. If you can see yourself working and excelling in a culture like ours, join our talented team and help us stay focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAct as the central liaison for the commercialization of AMI MPI-related supply chain activities between INC and AMI sites.\nLead cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, supply chain, supplier quality, and procurement teams to ensure seamless product launches.\nDefine and execute strategic supply chain roadmaps to enhance AMI service delivery, productivity, and quality for new product introductions. \nParticipate and report out operations plan’s for MPI’s in the monthly S&OP meetings.\nDrive supply chain requirements gathering and maintain strategic alignment with internal development teams throughout the MPI process.\nCollaborate with AMI manufacturing engineering and AMI supply chain teams to align production schedules, resource planning, and material flow for new products.\nDocument the current supply chain MPI process and work towards enhancing its efficiency. This involves ensuring clarity and compliance across all stakeholders.\nPresent data-driven business reviews to senior leadership on AMI MPI progress, including launch readiness and transition plans.\nDrive process improvements to enhance communication, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization during MPIs.\nFacilitate cross-functional meetings to identify risks, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely execution of MPI projects.\nSupplier visits to ensure MPI’s are on track\nMonitor and report on MPI progress, including material availability, production readiness, and key milestones.\nTravel periodically to manufacturing facilities to support on-site coordination and issue resolution.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. \nMinimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing operations, preferably in a regulated industry. \nProven experience project management or similar cross-functional projects.\nKnowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:\nExcellent communication and project management skills. \nPM certifications are a plus. \nERP experience.\nMachine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:\nProficiency in the use of PC and programs, particularly Microsoft Office, SAP, and Power BI.\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.\nLanguage and Communication Skills:\nAbility to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
