Based on the position description, the role includes developing and supporting software applications, contributing across the technology stack, participatingin cross-functional development teams, and continuously learning new technologies.\nMain Objective:\nDevelop, support, and maintain high-end and innovative software applications that support Arthrex’s mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better. Write high-quality, reliability, and maintainable code and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nActively participates in software development and team ceremonies as a member of a cross functional software development team.\nDevelop software features using established patterns and technology.\nContributes to all aspects of the technology stack from client-side programming to developing and deploying back-end services\nMonitors applications for abnormalities and looks for areas to improve application availability and speed.\nInvestigates and addresses bugs.\nConducts code reviews, provides feedback, and suggests changes as needed.\nContinuously learn new frameworks, programming languages, and tooling.\nCollaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners, maintaining open and respectful communication.\nOccasional travel for training, meetings or trade shows may be required.\nSkills:\nProgramming experience with Go\nExperience writing tests to validate code changes.\nExperience with distributed version control systems such as Git.\nExperience using agile software development methodologies.\nExperience with a deployment pipeline such as GitHub Actions of Jenkins\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or Grafana\nGolang\nProgramming experience with Go\nExperience developing and supporting back-end services in a professional environment\nExperience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures is a plus\nRelational database design and SQL; experience with PostgreSQL preferred\nExperience with message queues and asynchronous processing\nExperience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (AWS, CDK or Terraform) a plus\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nBachelor’s degree preferred\n5 years of professional
