Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless integration with front-end applications and alignment with project goals. You will stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices to optimize system performance, scalability, and security. Your contributions will include participating in task planning and execution to ensure timely and successful project delivery.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nIndependently create, test, and maintain software applications and systems based on user requirements and technical specifications.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to align project goals and requirements.\nStay updated with new technologies, methodologies, and programming tools, and apply them to improve software performance and user experience.\nAssist in the planning, scheduling, and prioritization of tasks to ensure software development projects are delivered on time.\nQualifications\nAt least 5 years of experience in backend development, preferably with Go; strong experience with other systems/backend programming languages such as Rust, Zig, or C++ is also welcome.\nComfortable using AI/LLMs to accelerate development, with the judgment to critically review, validate, prototype and adapt generated code (not apply it blindly).\nAbility to spot code smells, edge cases, architectural inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks, and propose pragmatic improvements.\nKnowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.\nFluency in English, both written and spoken.\nWorking Conditions\nThe environment is a typical start-up with an intrinsically motivated international team.
