About Artisight

Artisight transforms hospital operations with its Smart Hospital Platform, helping health systems reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance patient care. Guided by deep clinical expertise and powered by NVIDIA GPUs, Artisight’s voice-activated sensors and computer vision technology enable real-time observation, virtual nursing, and automated documentation directly in the EHR. The platform integrates seamlessly with existing workflows to reduce staff burden, accelerate patient throughput, and improve safety. More than 400 hospitals across 30 health systems trust Artisight to deliver measurable results, including cutting patient falls by over 50%, reducing nurse turnover, and saving millions annually.

About the Role

The Technical Delivery Engineer Lead (Contractor) leads on-site execution of Artisight technology deployments in hospitals and other healthcare settings while staying hands-on with installation, testing, and validation. Reporting to the Sr. Technical Delivery Lead, you'll direct a team of 3 to 5 contractors, keeping work aligned to the approved technical approach and deployment standards while minimizing disruption to patient care.

This is fully on-site in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of 3 to 5 contractors: assign daily tasks and locations, provide technical direction, and monitor progress, quality, and pace
  • Run daily stand-ups and report progress, issues, and completed work to the Sr. Technical Delivery Lead
  • Serve as the team's first point of escalation for technical issues, site readiness concerns, and blockers before elevating
  • Confirm the team has completed required training, credentialing, and site access requirements before deployment, and hold them accountable to safety and quality standards
  • Perform and oversee receiving, inventory, inspection, and staging of equipment, flagging anything damaged, missing, or incorrect
  • Install All-In-One (AIO) devices, cameras, and accessories, including power, network, display, and peripheral cabling with clean cable management, and review team installs for accuracy
  • Perform and oversee rip-and-replace work and decommissioning of legacy equipment
  • Test and validate installs: device connectivity, camera and PTZ function, two-way audio, room views, and supported workflows
  • Review team documentation, trackers, install photos, and QA checklists for completeness, and record serial numbers, asset tags, and locations
  • Act as on-site technical point of contact for clinical, facilities, and IT staff when the Sr. Technical Delivery Lead is unavailable, while following and enforcing all safety, privacy, and infection prevention requirements

What You Have

  • Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 5+ years in technical deployments, field services, desktop support, or hardware implementation
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of 3 to 5 people and directing others on technical execution
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting endpoint devices, cameras, peripherals, and network-connected technology
  • Comfort following and enforcing deployment procedures, work instructions, and installation standards
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to hold a team accountable to standards and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel-based tracking tools, and collaboration platforms
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+, or equivalent (required)

Nice to have: healthcare or hospital deployment experience, audio/video or telehealth systems, ServiceNow or asset management tools, advanced certifications beyond A+/Network+, and lead or crew-chief experience on large-scale refresh projects.

Tools and Equipment Requirements

  • Contractor must provide and maintain a laptop capable of running project documentation, deployment tracking, reporting, communication, and collaboration applications.
  • Contractor must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned hospitals, clinics, staging locations, and project sites.
  • Contractor must maintain a mobile phone for project communication and emergency contact purposes.
  • Contractor must be able to access email, project documentation, and deployment tracking systems throughout the engagement.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and transport equipment throughout healthcare facilities for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely use ladders and work at varying heights when required for equipment installation.
  • Ability to work onsite for the duration of assigned project engagements.

Employment and Client Access Requirements

  • Employment on Artisight deployment projects is contingent upon the contractor’s ability to satisfy all customer and site-specific access requirements.
  • Requirements may include background checks, drug screenings, immunization verification, vendor credentialing, security awareness training, confidentiality agreements, badging, infection prevention training, and other healthcare facility onboarding requirements determined by the customer.
    • Requests for medical or religious accommodation related to these requirements will be considered in accordance with applicable law.
  • Contractors must maintain compliance with all applicable requirements throughout the engagement.
