You will work directly with the CFO on capital raising, financial modeling, investor and board materials, and transaction analysis. Our accounting team owns the close, reporting, and controls. This role owns the forward-looking finance work. You will have real exposure to leadership, the board, and investors from day one. \nThe ideal candidate comes from investment banking or private equity as an analyst ready to move into a corporate finance role and put their financial modeling skills to work at an early-stage company. This is path that may lead to a CFO opportunity in the future.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nMaintain the company's three-statement financial model, including revenue builds for each business line, scenario analysis, and long-range forecasts\nSupport equity and debt capital raises: investor presentations, data room management, offering document support, dilution and returns analysis, and investor diligence requests\nBuild pricing and deal economics models for carbon, environmental asset, and 45Z tax credit transactions\nPrepare monthly and quarterly board materials, KPI dashboards, and management reporting\nAssist with the annual budget and rolling forecast process in partnership with department heads\nProduce 13-week cash flow and working capital forecasts with the accounting team\nAnalyze unit economics, margins, and customer profitability across revenue streams\nEvaluate strategic alternatives, partnerships, and potential acquisitions\nTake on ad hoc analysis for the CFO and executive team\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or as a finance analyst or associate at a PE or VC backed company\nBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field\nStrong financial modeling skills: three-statement models, DCF, returns analysis, and scenario-driven forecasts built on clean input drivers\nAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with Google Sheets\nWorking knowledge of GAAP financial statements\nAbility to turn analysis into clear, concise materials for executives, boards, and investors\nOwnership mentality and comfort with ambiguity in a growth-stage company\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience in agriculture, energy, renewable fuels, carbon markets, or environmental commodities\nFamiliarity with tax credit structures, project finance, or structured transactions\nExposure to a capital raise or M&A process from the company side\nWHY ARVA\nDirect mentorship from the CFO and visibility with the board and investors\nBroad scope across capital markets, strategy, and operations\nA chance to help build a company at the intersection of agriculture, energy, and climate\nCOMPENSATION\nCompetitive base salary of [$150,000] plus annual bonus and equity.
