We invest in training, development, and continuous improvement, and we take pride in building long-term relationships with our clients and teams across Europe.\nRole\nATC's Data Center Technician assumes a critical role in the installation and upkeep of cabling to guarantee seamless operations of hardware networks, including equipment and server/network rack decommissioning. Joining our dynamic team presents an exciting chance to contribute to expansive projects and engage in travel for on-site support.\nContract Type: Fixed-Term Contract\nVacancies: 3\nResponsibilities:\nAttend customer sites as scheduled, following all safety, security, and operational procedures.\nInstall, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fibre and copper cabling infrastructure.\nPerform cabling activities in server racks, including patching, dressing, and cable management.\nConduct routine inspections of IT, server, and network equipment.\nInstall, relocate, disconnect, and decommission network, server, and storage equipment.\nSupport infrastructure upgrades, including laying additional fibre and copper cabling.\nMaintain accurate records, complete daily reports, and update stakeholders on work progress.\nDeliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.\nRequirements\nUnderstanding of networking concepts, cabling standards, and best practices.\nExperience installing and troubleshooting structured cabling (copper and fibre).\nFamiliarity with network troubleshooting tools such as OTDR, VFL, and power meters.\nBasic understanding of networking hardware, including routers and switches.\nStrong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.\nAbility to work under pressure, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.\nExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Email. \nLanguage proficiency: C1 level in English. \nProficiency in another European language would be advantageous. \nPrior experience in a data centre, logistics or construction environment. \nAbility to be flexible and travel for work.\nA valid class B driving licence with a clean driving record.\nNote: Candidates are required to have the right to work in the EU/EEA.
