You’ll play an important role in ensuring financial data is accurate, reporting is delivered on time, and clients receive a high standard of financial support.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for U.S.-based clients.\nPerform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.\nProcess invoices, payments, payroll and expense reports accurately and efficiently.\nPrepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.\nEnsure financial records are accurate, complete and maintained in line with relevant accounting principles and requirements.\nWork closely with clients and internal team members to resolve queries and ensure smooth financial operations.\nProactively identify discrepancies, issues and opportunities for improvement.\nIdentify ways to improve bookkeeping processes, reporting and overall efficiency.\nAdapt to and make effective use of cloud-based accounting systems and financial technology.\nProvide responsive, professional and client-focused support.\nCompensation\nCompetitive remuneration, commensurate with experience.\nWorking Hours\nRemote / flexible working environment, with availability to collaborate with U.S.-based clients and team members as required.\nRequirements\nRequirements\nRelevant bookkeeping certification, diploma or qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.\n2+ years' bookkeeping experience.\nStrong experience using QuickBooks or similar cloud-based accounting software.\nExperience with bank reconciliations, general ledger management and financial reporting.\nStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.\nExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nComfortable working with U.S.-based clients or across international time zones.\nA proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.\nWho Should Apply?\nThis role would suit a bookkeeper who is more than just a transaction processor.
