Your work is critical to our mission: delivering autonomous systems that our partners can trust without question when it matters most.\nWhat You'll Build\nA comprehensive safety and reliability function for our core system development programs, setting the standard for excellence\nRigorous safety analyses, including FMEA/FMECA and fault tree analysis (FTA), that provide clear, actionable insights to our engineering teams\nTraceable safety and reliability requirements throughout the entire system architecture, ensuring integrity from concept to delivery\nStructured assessments that actively shape system design and prevent issues before they arise\nFailure mode identification and mitigation strategies that reduce operational risk across complex, safety-critical systems\nData-driven mitigation strategies that reduce operational risk and continuously improve system performance in the field\nRobust maintenance concepts that enhance the readiness and operational life of our deployed platforms\nRoot cause investigations that not only solve problems but also strengthen the long-term integrity of our systems\nA culture of safety-first thinking by mentoring engineers and advancing best practices across the organization\nWhat You Bring\nA strong background in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline\n8+ years significant hands-on experience in safety and reliability engineering for complex products\nDeep, applied expertise in FMEA, FTA, and other risk analysis methodologies\nA proven track record working with mission-critical systems where failure is not an option\nPractical knowledge of key safety standards (like ISO 13849, MIL-STD-882E, or IEC 61508) and how to apply them effectively\nThe ability to pair strong analytical thinking with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving\nA highly collaborative spirit that unites different engineering disciplines toward a common safety goal\nExcellent communication skills, making complex safety concepts clear to technical and non-technical colleagues alike\nPlease note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply.
