Your work will directly influence the reliability and capability of technology that matters.\nWhat You’ll Build\nThe core software architecture for our low-level robotics platform, ensuring robust communication and optimized performance across distributed systems (TCP/IP).\nBest practices and design patterns for modular, scalable, and maintainable robotics software that other teams can build upon.\nSeamless integrations between software components, creating a cohesive and reliable runtime environment.\nHigh-performance, real-time systems capable of operating in demanding and mission-critical scenarios.\nA culture of technical excellence by mentoring other engineers in architectural principles and software craftsmanship.\nRobust and secure systems through rigorous testing, validation, and a deep understanding of system-level details.\nClear technical documentation that empowers your team and accelerates the development of new capabilities.\nProvide hands-on technical leadership, set engineering direction, and mentor cross-functional teams across software, hardware, test, and security disciplines. \nWhat You Bring\n10+ years of professional experience developing low-level platform software (BSPs, bootloaders, kernels, device drivers).\nStrong C and Modern C++ programming skills, supported by production experience with real-time or safety-oriented operating systems like embedded Linux or QNX (including build toolchains like Yocto/Open Embedded or Buildroot).\nA profound understanding of modular software architecture, clean code principles, and designing for long-term maintainability.\nHands-on experience building, debugging, and optimizing multithreaded, real-time, or performance-critical systems.\nA strong grasp of parallel and distributed systems, including low-level system profiling.\nComfort and proficiency working in embedded environments such as Linux or QNX.\nDeep knowledge of system-level APIs (IPC, sockets, I/O) and communication protocols like CAN or Ethernet.\nExceptional communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate effectively across teams.\nFamiliarity with Bazel, zero-copy middleware, or lock-free programming is a strong advantage.\nPlease note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply.
