You will be a trusted partner to operational leaders, helping to strengthen risk management, drive compliance, improve safety performance, and foster a proactive safety culture. This is an exciting opportunity to make a visible impact by supporting continuous improvement initiatives, influencing operational excellence, and helping Arxada achieve its commitment to safe and sustainable operations.\nEssential Job Functions:\nProvide day-to-day EHS guidance and support across site operations and laboratories.\nLead hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of effective risk controls.\nDrive incident management activities, including investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up.\nSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of site and corporate EHS management systems.\nPromote a strong safety culture through coaching, workforce engagement, communication, and behavioural safety initiatives.\nCoordinate emergency preparedness activities, including maintenance and testing of Emergency Response Plans.\nSupport contractor management, facility projects, permit-to-work processes, and operational compliance activities.\nPartner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and successful audit outcomes.\nQualifications & Experience:\nTertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience within manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments.\nExperience leading incident investigations using ICAM or equivalent root-cause methodologies.\nStrong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management principles, and EHS management systems.\nDemonstrated experience conducting complex risk and process hazard assessments.\nProven ability to influence stakeholders, build collaborative partnerships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nStrong communication and coaching skills, with a passion for developing a positive and engaged safety culture.\nArxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:\nMicrobial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.\nNutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.\nArxada is an equal opportunity employer.
