You will provide expert environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulatory guidance, own and manage hazard communication documentation, and partner closely with Commercial, Product Safety, and Regulatory Affairs teams. This role is ideal for a collaborative, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a customer-facing environment and is motivated to go beyond compliance to deliver meaningful value to customers and the business.\nThe ideal candidate can be located in the Southeast (preferred) or the Northeast. There will be travel to customer sites close to our existing offices.\nEssential Job Functions\nEXCELLENT communication skills to interact with clients, employees and stakeholders with confidence as a SME required.\nAuthor, manage, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and GHS/OSHA-compliant labels for the Wood Business Unit using SAP, representing a core responsibility of the role\nProvide timely, practical EHS and hazardous materials regulatory guidance to customers and internal commercial partners (e.g., OSHA, HazCom/GHS, DOT, RCRA, NPDES)\nSupport customer technical inquiries, complaints, and compliance escalations by coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and documenting consistent responses\nConduct customer facility assessments and audits, delivering clear findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions\nSupport customer EHS program development, including written programs, SOPs, training materials, and corrective action plans\nPrepare and review regulatory forms, reports, and permit documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission\nDevelop and deliver EHS and product stewardship training for customers and internal teams as needed \nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)\n5 years of advanced experience in EHS, product safety, or related regulatory roles\nWorking knowledge of U.S. federal and state regulations, including OSHA, RCRA, DOT, and NPDES\nExperience with SDS authoring and maintenance systems (SAP EH&S or equivalent required)\nStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex regulatory topics clearly\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions\nProfessional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are preferred\nThe expected salary range for this role is 90-100k annually but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.\nThis role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.\nArxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:\n Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.\nNutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.\nArxada is an equal opportunity employer.
