You will contribute to scientific rigor and operational excellence by delivering high-quality experimental work, accurate documentation, and meaningful data interpretation. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on innovation, quality, and customer impact while advancing Arxada’s growth in microbial control solutions.\nEssential Job Functions\nPerform microbiology and virology testing using AOAC, ASTM, OECD, and other established methodologies\nConduct hands-on laboratory work including study planning, execution, and concurrent GLP documentation\nCultivate and maintain bacterial, viral, and fungal cultures, including work within BSL2 and BSL2+ environments\nAnalyze experimental data and prepare detailed technical reports; present findings and recommendations as needed\nEnsure compliance with GLP standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across all laboratory activities\nSupport laboratory operations through equipment qualifications, QA activities, and adherence to safety protocols\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate with senior lab leadership on testing schedules and priorities\nParticipate in rotational weekend work for time-sensitive microbial assays\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline\n0-4 years of relevant industry experience in microbiology or related laboratory environments\nExperience working within GLP, cGMP, or GCP frameworks is preferred\nExposure to microbiology related to biocidal products across healthcare, food & beverage, institutional, or consumer sectors is advantageous\nHands-on experience with BSL-2 pathogens is desirable\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret scientific data\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with business fluency in English\nSkills & Competencies\nDemonstrates integrity, accountability, and a professional approach to laboratory work\nAbility to quickly learn and apply new scientific concepts and methodologies\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines\nEffective collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently and within a matrix organization\nProactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach and commitment to safety and quality\n(To be included in US Postings Only)\nThe expected salary range for this role is 65-70k annually,but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.\nThis role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.\nArxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:\nMicrobial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.\nNutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.\nArxada is an equal opportunity employer.
