The role partners closely with Business Development, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Regulatory and Product Management to solve customer technical challenges, develop practical solutions and enable successful adoption of Arxada products. Acting as a key technical interface with customers and distribution partners, you will translate customer needs and market insights into value-creating application and growth opportunities. This is an individual contributor role with regional customer project leadership and technical influence responsibilities.\nEssential Job Functions:\n· Partner with Business Development, Marketing and Sales teams to develop new solutions and support growth initiatives across Southeast Asia hygiene and personal care markets.\n· Provide technical support to customers and distribution partners, including product recommendations, formulation guidance, performance evaluation, troubleshooting and application optimization.\n· Develop and execute customer-focused technical projects that support new business opportunities, product adoption, customer qualification and market expansion.\n· Build strong technical relationships with key customers and distribution partners and act as a trusted technical interface for application and product-related needs.\n· Identify customer needs, technical and regulatory trends, and competitive insights, and translate them into technical value propositions, application development opportunities and growth projects.\n· Collaborate with Regional and Global R&D, Regulatory, Product Management, Quality and Supply Chain teams to support new product launches, product approvals, customer qualifications and commercialization activities.\n· Plan and conduct laboratory work, application testing and performance evaluation, and interpret results to provide practical customer recommendations.\n· Prepare technical reports, laboratory data, product application guidance, presentations, training materials and customer-facing technical documentation.\n· Deliver technical training, seminars, workshops and customer presentations to strengthen customer capability and position Arxada as a trusted technical partner.\n· Manage multiple customer and application projects with clear priorities, ownership and follow-through to business-relevant outcomes.\n· Support regional portfolio development, product positioning and commercialization through technical expertise, customer insights and market knowledge.\nBusiness Travel:\nRegional business travel across Southeast Asia of approximately 30-40% may be required.\nRegular customer visits, distributor engagement and technical support at customer sites are required.\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biology, Formulation Science, Cosmetic Science or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred\n5-10 years of experience in Technical Service, Application Development, Formulation Development or R&D within Hygiene, Personal Care, Home Care, microbial control, specialty chemicals or related industries\nExperience in customer-facing technical support, project management and cross-functional collaboration across Southeast Asia\nHands-on laboratory capability in experimental design, application testing, data analysis and technical reporting\nStrong knowledge of personal care and hygiene applications, formulation principles, microbial control solutions and performance requirements\nFluency in English is required; proficiency in Thai, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese or Mandarin Chinese would be an advantage\nArxada has world class offerings in two distinct areas:\nMicrobial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.\nNutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.\nArxada is an equal opportunity employer.
