instructions.\nResponsibilities\nBuild, assemble, modify, and rework prototype drones, subassemblies, and test hardware.\n\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and integration issues and work with engineers to find practical fixes.\n\nBuild and rework wire harnesses, connectors, electronics, and other electromechanical assemblies.\n\nFabricate and modify parts using hand tools, power tools, 3D printers, and other shop equipment.\n\nSupport prototype builds, vehicle bring-up, testing, repairs, and fast design iterations.\n\nHelp improve how we build things by identifying problems, sharing feedback, and developing better tools, fixtures, and build practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n5-10 years of experience building products at hardware companies\n\nStrong hands-on mechanical skills and experience building, repairing, or troubleshooting hardware.\n\nComfortable using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, measurement tools, and shop equipment.\n\nExperience with wiring, connectors, crimping, soldering, and basic electronics assembly.\n\nAble to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and basic build documentation.\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through problems without always having a step-by-step procedure.\n\nFlexible and comfortable jumping between different projects, tools, and problems in a fast-moving development environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with drones, robotics, vehicles or other electromechanical systems.\n\nExperience in a prototype shop, engineering lab, R&D environment, or hardware startup.\n\nExperience with 3D printers, CNC machines, mills, lathes, laser cutters, or similar fabrication equipment.\n\nExperience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and other electrical test equipment.\n\nFamiliarity with CAD, BOMs, work instructions, and basic engineering documentation.\n\nExperience with good hardware build practices including fasteners, torque, adhesives, cable management, ESD, and general
