The successful candidate should have strong UNIX scripting and SQL skills and be comfortable supporting business-critical applications in a fast-paced production environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide L2/L3 production application support for payment and corporate banking platforms.\n\nMonitor production applications, interfaces, batch processes, and system health to ensure service availability and stability.\n\nInvestigate and resolve production incidents, application failures, and performance issues.\n\nPerform root cause analysis for recurring or critical production issues and coordinate permanent fixes.\n\nTroubleshoot application and data-related issues using UNIX/Linux commands, scripts, and SQL queries.\n\nDevelop and maintain UNIX scripts to support monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational activities.\n\nUse SQL to investigate data issues, validate transactions, and support incident resolution.\n\nManage incidents through the complete lifecycle, including investigation, resolution, escalation, and closure.\n\nCoordinate with application development, infrastructure, database, network, and business teams during incident resolution.\n\nSupport major incident and problem management activities for business-critical applications.\n\nMonitor batch jobs, scheduled processes, system integrations, and transaction processing.\n\nSupport application deployments, releases, patches, and production changes.\n\nPerform post-deployment validation and production health checks.\n\nMaintain operational procedures, support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.\n\nIdentify recurring production issues and recommend improvements to application stability and operational efficiency.\n\nCommunicate incident status, business impact, resolution progress, and technical findings clearly to relevant stakeholders.\n\nRequired Skills\nApproximately 7–12 years of overall IT experience, with strong relevant experience in application or production support.\n\nHands-on experience in application monitoring, production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.\n\nStrong proficiency in UNIX/Linux and UNIX shell scripting.\n\nStrong hands-on SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and production support.\n\nExperience supporting business-critical enterprise applications.\n\nGood understanding of application support processes, production monitoring, incident management, and problem management.\n\nExperience troubleshooting application, interface, batch, and data-related issues.\n\nAbility to perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution across multiple technical teams.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a production support environment and manage critical incidents.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nGood stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience supporting global or regional payment platforms within corporate banking.\n\nUnderstanding of payment processing, transaction flows, and banking payment systems.\n\nPrevious experience supporting high-volume or business-critical financial applications.\n\nFamiliarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.\n\nKnowledge of blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) would be advantageous but is not mandatory.\n\nExperience working with geographically distributed technology and
