You'll collaborate with the Reporting Foundations team in New York to deliver agentic dashboards and a reporting platform every Asana product line can adopt quickly. Together, the two teams co-own the stack from frontend components to the database.\nThis role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.\nWhat you'll achieve\nBuild a new engineering team in Warsaw from the ground up, hiring talented engineers, and helping each engineer grow in their career.\nGuide architecture across the stack and coach engineers to make sound technical calls.\nEstablish strong planning and delivery practices, so the team can ship agentic dashboards and platform capabilities quickly without sacrificing quality.\nWork cross-functionally with Product Management and Design, as well as the product teams that build on our platform, to define priorities and deliver intuitive capabilities.\nChampion accountability for key outcomes, linking your team's everyday work to Asana's broader strategic goals.\nPartner closely with the New York team to align on roadmap, ownership boundaries, and technical direction\nAbout you\nExperience leading engineering teams that build scalable web applications, with a deep understanding of software architecture, and a knack for coaching engineers through complex technical tradeoffs.\nExperience building strong delivery practices that help teams ship predictably.\nCuriosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, and excitement about building AI-native products.\nProven track record of collaborating effectively with Product Managers and Designers to balance technical health with user velocity.\nClear communicator and supportive leader who builds trust, gives direct feedback, and thrives in a collaborative environment.\nAt Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission.
