When you choose Ivy Gables Senior Living you are choosing a lifestyle!\nSchedule & Pay\nFull time 80 hours biweekly\n7:00am-3:30pm\nOccasional weekends & holidays required. \n$15.00/hour\n We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our residents.\nThoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, tiles, and mirrors.\nDust and polish furnishings, fixtures, and ledges throughout the facility.\nClean windows and mirrors to ensure streak-free, clear surfaces.\nMaintain floor cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and buffing as appropriate for different floor types.\nVacuum, shampoo, and deodorize carpets according to established schedules and as needed.\nClean walls and ceilings, including removal of cobwebs and other debris.\nApply appropriate cleaning solutions to remove dirt, dust, and grease from various surfaces.\nEmpty trash receptacles, dispose of waste properly, and replace bin liners.\nReport any accidents, incidents, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.\nOrganize and maintain cleanliness of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.\nPerform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by management.\nMinimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional cleaning experience required\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nAbility to follow detailed cleaning instructions and adhere to safety protocols\nAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards\nExperience working in facilities for older adults or retirement communities is highly preferred\nKnowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning chemicals\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and all
