Attends weekly dining managers’ meetings.\nAssists Executive Chef in training new associates and mentoring all production associates. Answers, advises, or asks questions, and solves problems presented by other production associates.\nQuality checks all completed production; tastes all menu items, ensuring that they meet standards for appearance, texture, taste, temperature, and overall quality. Is proactive in making corrections to production, plating and presentation done by other production associates.\nAssists with healthcare cooking and mentorship of those cooks.\nPrepares forecasted amounts of each menu item assigned, as identified on production sheets. Follows recipes accurately.
