The division ensures the ASC has the appropriate resources necessary to ensure the consistent, reliable and secure delivery of services, and understanding and anticipating the organization’s unique technology requirements.\nThe opportunity\nReporting to the Manager, Strategic Programs and Enterprise Delivery, the IT Purchasing Analyst (one year term) supports IT procurement, vendor management, and cost governance activities across the organization. This role contributes to cost optimization initiatives, maintains audit-ready documentation, and helps strengthen IT procurement processes and governance.\nFor this fixed term position, the ASC offers a hybrid work environment and flexibility, a competitive total rewards package consisting of 100 per cent employer-paid benefits, effective your first day of employment. We also encourage fun and giving back to the community with initiatives offered through our ASC Social Club and annual United Way Campaign.\nKey responsibilities include\nRecord and maintain accurate project cost data in financial systems, ensuring proper coding of costs to relevant projects.\nSupport the reconciliation of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounting.\nMaintain accurate procurement records, budgets, and contract documentation\nAssist with monitoring IT procurement budgets, including forecasting procurement costs, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities\nCoordinate RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services, including preparing procurement documents, managing vendor communications, tracking submissions, and consolidating evaluation results in collaboration with the Office of the General Counsel.\nWork closely with the Manager to support pricing, terms, and conditions negotiations with vendors to achieve optimal value.\nPartner with finance, legal, compliance, and privacy teams to support contract drafting and execution while ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies, financial controls, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.\nThe ideal candidate will possess\nA bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or Commerce or equivalent experience.\nThree to five years of practical experience in procurement, or financial services.\nDemonstrated ability in meeting deadlines, excellent attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.\nExperience working with budgets, forecasting, invoice reconciliation, and spend reporting. \nStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills. \nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Legal.\nWorking knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning software is considered an asset.\nTo apply\nClick the Apply for this job button to submit your resume, cover letter and salary expectations by October 28, 2026.
